History of breeding place Torrearena

My name is Cristian Araya Leiva, Breeding place TORREARENA which is located in Costa Rica, in the beautiful city of Turrialba, where we raised to our beautiful Shar Pei in a familiar and pleasant atmosphere that  makes dogs with very stable temperaments.

My first Shar Pei puppy, the Costa Rican Champion A-YULIN. was sold to me by my personal friend and Breeder Fabian Solano Ramirez, in the year of 1998. When he offered that dog to me, I knew he was putting in my hands the fruit of years of effort in the raising, and it was  my opportunity and a commitment that  I had assume. In March of 1999, they invited me to participate in the specialized exhibition of the group Nº 2, in which A-YULIN, obtained best in show, so there is when a very pretty history in the canine competitions begins.

Later in 1999 a Shar Pei came and changed my life. The dog’s name was CATY (TALAMANCA). Moreover, there were more puppies and were like fried potatoes, since a single one was not enough.

Today the BREEDING PLACE TORREARENA counts among other profits, with a line of breeding very attached to the standard of the FCI, which has been obtained after years of responsible work.
Our dogs have a very high quality which is only offered by serious hard work.
