Wu-lo Head - The shape of a Wu-lo melon, (like a pear). Heavy and round at the bottom (skull); tappered at the top (muzzle).
Clam Shell Ear - ear similar to small clam shell. Thick and small.
Butterfly Nose -There is a cookie in Guangzhou, China, called "butterfly"of similar appearance to a front wiew of the dog's nose, with a very wide nostril. The dog's nose should be big (wide) and blunt.
Pae Pah Legs - The Pae Pah is a musical instrument shaped like a ham. The hindlegs should be thick, muscled and straight without any angulation.
Shrimp Back - Back is strong and flexible, no dip behind withers. The coup is flat, not steep or round. In normal posture, the back is slihtly arched, almost straight. The difference between the roach back and the shrimp back is that the shrimp back is flexible while the roach back remains permanent.
Iron-Wire Tail - tail should be stiff and thin at the base like a piece of cable, high set on the back. Preferably the tail makes a tight round curl; so tight that a small hole, like a coin forms in the center of this tail. To the Chinese the correct tail is of great importance.
Grandma Face - describes the facial wrinkling, just a little like "Granny's". The face should not be overly wrinkled.
Iron Pellet Tongue - Bluish Black color like an iron pellet. In China a "flowered"tongue is acceptable.
Water Buffalo Neck - Strong and of medium lengh, with a small amount of dewlap, like a water buffalo.
Wun Fish Body -a common fish in Kwong Tung Province describes body that is, like this fish, not too round nor too flat in rib cage. Dry and firm. Skin tight without wrinkles except in the withers area. When skin is grabbed and pulled away from body it should be extremely loose.
Facing Sky Anus -Tail set so high on back that the anus protrudes slightly and face upwards. Has neticeable rim.
Horse's Rear End -Broard, muscular, well-developed, like that of a horse.
Dragon Leg - Front legs wide-wide spaced to side of body forming very wide chest.
Garlic Feet -Thick, firm, well-knuckled. Resembles garlic bulb with toes forming the garlic cloves.
Mother Frog Mouth -Muzzle short, wide tapered to blunt wedge triangle. When opened, corners of mouth wider than placement of eyes.
Roof Tile Mouth - Longer than the preferred Mother Frog Mouth. Muzze strong, round in shape. Resembles chinese Roof Tile.
Iron Toenail - Bluish Black.
.Five Point Red -This does not refer to coat color, but to five areas of the body which may be red or pink on dogs of dilutted pigmentation (meaning coat colors of red, light fawn, cream or white). These partes are the nose, eye, rims, tongue, toenails and anus.In China, the two preffered coat colors would appear to be rusty black and dark fawn.
Rusty Black - Color of a black dog's coat which should be dull, not shiny, with tips of hair ending in reddish brown, like rust
